The Women’s March: Portland
…took place on January 20, 2016. After the Portland community involved in the march planning process decided that there would be a change in leadership for better equity and and representation, I volunteered my design services to help advertise the march online and in the greater Portland area. In less than a week prior to the march, I (with the help of amazing volunteers from the march group and assets from the National planning committee) designed and built a Squarespace website to house the march information and logistics, and designed print materials for marketing and day-of signage.
The turnout for the march was estimated at between 70-100,000 people, despite rain during the event.
